Happy Second Anniversary, FADA Mission International Hospital!

Today, October 11, 2026, FADA Mission International Hospital turns two. Two years ago, a vision became a reality: a place where people could receive quality healthcare while experiencing the love, dignity, and hope found in Jesus Christ. This weekend, we celebrated what that vision has grown into.

Two years of healing with compassion

From the start, the mission was never only about treating illness. It was about caring for the whole person — body, mind, and spirit. In this anniversary video, our board members share what these two years have meant: mothers safely cared for, children comforted, patients treated with compassion, and families given hope.

“This is the Lord’s doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.” — Psalm 118:23

What two years built

From outpatient care, laboratory and pharmacy to maternity, surgery and community outreach, the hospital keeps growing to meet the needs of the communities it serves. None of this happened by our strength alone. It happened because of God’s faithfulness and because of our staff, volunteers, partners, donors, churches and friends around the world.

A message from our President and CEO

Second Anniversary Message — October 11, 2026

Dear Staff, Management, Doctors, Supervisory Board Members, Volunteers, and Donors,

As we celebrate the second anniversary of FADA Mission International Hospital, we give thanks to Almighty God for His faithfulness and to each of you for your contribution to our Christ-centered mission of healing, service, and hope.

Since opening our doors on October 11, 2024, we have worked together to provide compassionate healthcare to families in Bonaberi, Douala, including vulnerable children and people displaced by conflict. Every patient served reflects the collective dedication of those who care, lead, give, and pray.

To our doctors, nurses, and all clinical and support staff: Thank you for your expertise, compassion, and tireless service. Your commitment brings comfort to patients and hope to families, often during their most difficult moments.

To our management team: Thank you for your leadership, perseverance, and commitment to strengthening our operations. Your work helps translate our mission into dependable daily care.

To our Supervisory Board: We sincerely appreciate your guidance, oversight, wisdom, and dedication to accountability. Your support helps strengthen our governance, promote unity, and keep our work grounded in our mission and values.

To our volunteers: Thank you for generously offering your time, talents, and energy. Whether supporting outreach, hospital activities, or work behind the scenes, your service extends the reach of our mission.

To our donors and partners: Thank you for your generosity and confidence in FADA Mission International. Your financial contributions, donated equipment, supplies, prayers, and encouragement help us serve those in need and pursue improvements in healthcare. You are an essential part of this journey.

These two years have brought progress, challenges, and valuable lessons. Let us celebrate our accomplishments while remaining committed to improvement. Through excellence, integrity, compassion, accountability, and respect for one another, we can continue building a hospital worthy of our patients’ trust.

Looking ahead, our vision is to strengthen maternal and child healthcare, expand diagnostic services, advance the development of our dialysis center, and reach more underserved families. We will also continue strengthening staff development, patient safety, responsible stewardship, and the partnerships that support our long-term sustainability.

Our future will be shaped by the care we provide, the trust we earn, and the unity we preserve. Let us move forward with renewed purpose, remembering that serving those in need is both a professional responsibility and an expression of Christ’s love.

“Let us not become weary in doing good.” — Galatians 6:9

On behalf of the Executive Board of FADA Mission International, thank you for standing with this mission. May God bless you and your families, guide our decisions, and strengthen the work of our hands.

Happy Second Anniversary, FADA Mission International Hospital!

With gratitude and prayers,
Donatus Ako, MSc, PMP
President and CEO

Thank you

Buildings and equipment alone do not make a hospital. People do. We celebrate our doctors, nurses, laboratory professionals, pharmacy staff, administrators, support staff, chaplaincy team, volunteers, partners, donors, board members, and every patient who trusted us with their care. Your sacrifice, prayers, generosity, and service have turned a dream into a growing ministry of healing.

Looking ahead

Our work is not finished. There are still communities to reach and lives to touch. As we enter our third year, we invite you to walk this journey with us: pray with us, partner with us, and give toward what comes next. Happy Second Anniversary, FADA Mission International Hospital. To God be all the glory.
