In the spirit of the season, the Fada Mission team made a heartfelt return to the IDP center in Bonaberi today, spreading the joy of Christmas and reinforcing our commitment to ongoing care. This visit was not just about festive cheer; it followed up on our impactful engagement from October, aimed at providing necessary medical treatment to the children at the center.
Today’s visit was especially rewarding as we witnessed the tangible results of our previous medical interventions. It was uplifting to see the significant improvement in the children’s skin conditions, a testament to the dedicated efforts of our medical experts during the past months. The progress made is a clear indication that our approach is working, bringing not only relief but also hope to these young lives.
We owe a tremendous thank you to our chief medical officer, Dr. Anguh Destain, and the remarkable team leads, Dr. Clare Tentoum and Madam Elvire Nankeu. Their expertise and compassion have been pivotal in this endeavor. Their leadership and the hard work of all team members who consulted and cared for the children have truly made a difference.
As we presented symbolic gifts to the children, it was a reminder of the broader gifts of health and happiness that our team strives to provide. Each smile was a reflection of the joy and spirit of the holiday season, and we are grateful to be a part of such a meaningful exchange.
As we celebrate this Christmas, let us all carry the joy of today into the rest of the year. Here’s wishing a Merry Christmas to each and every one of you. May the warmth and happiness of this season be with you throughout the coming year.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support our mission and to our team members who tirelessly work to make history with Fada Mission.
