Donatus Ako

Donatus Acap Ako is a distinguished entrepreneur, engineering executive, philanthropist, and faith-driven leader whose life’s mission is centered on transforming communities through sustainable healthcare, education, economic empowerment, and servant leadership. As the Founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer of FADA Mission International, Donatus has dedicated his life to creating opportunities, restoring hope, and improving the quality of life for underserved populations both in the United States and across Africa.

Born in Awing, Santa Subdivision of the Northwest Region of Cameroon, Donatus experienced firsthand the challenges of poverty, limited access to healthcare, inadequate educational resources, unreliable electricity, and the lack of basic necessities. These early life experiences instilled in him a profound appreciation for resilience, hard work, faith, and compassion for others. Despite significant hardships, he remained steadfast in his pursuit of education and personal growth, believing that every challenge was an opportunity for God’s purpose to unfold.

As a committed Christian, Donatus openly attributes every achievement in his life to God’s grace and providence. His personal testimony includes numerous moments of divine protection and miraculous survival that shaped his faith and purpose. From an early age, he made a covenant with God that if blessed with success, he would dedicate his resources, talents, and influence to serving humanity and advancing God’s kingdom.

A devoted husband and loving father, Donatus considers his greatest earthly blessing to be his family. He is happily married to Dr. Nathalie Ako, a healthcare provider serving veterans in West Texas. Together, they are blessed with four beautiful daughters: Faith, Diana, Gabriella, and Isabella. He views fatherhood as one of his highest callings and is deeply committed to raising his daughters to become women of faith, character, compassion, and purpose.
